The Yeşilyurt House Project reimagines the spirit of a ‘modern provençal house’, where modern heritage and poetic expressionism are seamlessly interwoven into a serene living space.
The design concept referred to as the ‘stock of memories’ unfolds through the layering of historical references, bringing together ornamental fragments from various timelines. These layers are expressed through functional volumes and soft color transitions, bringing to life a living archive of memories. Elements such as wooden beams, retro tiles, and dark walnut parquet embody the charm of the Provence style.
In addition, combinations of different periods’ ornaments are used with various color palettes. Pieces from one era blend with those from another, creating an unconventional unity. Ultimately, this narrative across time merges emotions and traces in a unique way. A soft, white-on-white canvas grounds the composition, while elegant craftsmanship, refined touches, and sculptural details evoke a sense of belonging.
Ultimately, the space resembles a memory book, where traces, emotions, and textures come together harmoniously.
